With their opening performances at SO Festival firmly under their sparkly Elvis belt we thought we’d share with you a little taster of what to expect when you venture inside each of Black Country Touring’s Life’s A Beach caravans.

Join Elvis and Shona in the ‘Elvis Bingo’ Caravan for a game of Elvis’s Bingo Balls. While our Black Country Elvis switches from Yam Yam to all American drawl and belts out the odd classic hit with a swing of his well-oiled hips, his newly appointed glamorous assistance wants to show off more than her number calling skills. But will the tussle for the limelight cause friction? And who will get their hands on the prized porcelain bunnies? It’s anyone’s game.

If you have ever holidayed at the great British seaside then, like many of the stories the team heard, we bet it wasn’t all smooth caravaning! With the thunderstorms outside, the razor beaked pesky seagulls trying to pinch your ice cream and the strange creaks that no-one can identify our Holiday Caravan hosts have a few tales to share with you.

From the scandalous tale of the vicar from Stiffkey, told via a shadow puppet show; through to the sad story of the little yellow wellies; and the myth of the beautiful mermaid, see our Holiday Caravan literally spring to life with surprise after surprise.

Find out what really does lurk in those caravan cupboards…

When RNLI hero John Lester searches the inky black waters off the Lincolnshire coast during the night not all is as it seems.

While he keeps himself occupied with sea shanties and stories, while receiving the occasional contact from the control centre, there is something, like the murky sea water itself, that just isn’t clear.

What has John been sent out to look for and why is he all alone? Join our lonesome lifeboat crew member in this completely immersive experience.
