Cinema For All’s regional support scheme On the Ground is back
Are you a community cinema exhibitor based in the West Midlands?
Are you looking for advice on how to keep your audiences engaged during this difficult time?
Do you want to get to know and learn from other community cinemas in your area?
Cinema For All’s regional support scheme On the Ground is back – connecting emerging and existing community cinema exhibitors from across the West Midlands to their share skills, knowledge and expertise!
Our BFI funded scheme On the Ground will consist of two online events, featuring panel discussions, masterclasses, preview film screenings and an exclusive networking session as part of Flatpack Festival’s Film Camp 2021.
Join Cinema For All from the comfort of your own home, on Saturday 21 November between 1-4pm, as they kickstart the programme with a free event, On the Ground: Maintaining Momentum.
The online event, held on Zoom, will look at how you can continue to engage with your audience members during this difficult period, whilst you are unable to screen as normal.
With a focus on how to continue to build audiences for your screenings, On the Ground: Maintaining Momentum will explore creative marketing ideas, how to encourage your audience to become advocates for your cinema, as well as how additional activities can help you to reach new communities.
The event will feature a masterclass session, led by Rosie and Ellie from the Cinema For All team, along with an interactive panel discussion featuring inspiring speakers from West Midlands based community cinemas, sharing their experiences and advice. Amy Smart from Film Hub Midlands will also be joining us to talk about upcoming opportunities, funds and advice for community exhibitors.
As part of the event, attendees will also receive a screening link to a fantastic preview film (Film TBC) which is due to appear on our Booking Scheme.
