Creative Connections - Positive Postcards

The Positive Postcard Project has been bringing optimism and creativity to residents in Stourbridge and the surrounding areas of the Black Country. 

Supported by Creative Black Country this project is run by Artist Ruth Turnbull working with Holly Grove Art Club to create and send postcards with a positive message.  

Ruth created the idea when thinking about how she could help to connect people during lockdown,

 “I feel really passionate about using the creative process to help well-being and connect people especially during the pandemic and lockdown.”

There has been lots of interest in this project and so many positive reactions from residents receiving personalised postcards and messages.
