Youth Labs Advocacy event - Reimagining Wolves
Throughout the Summer we have been lucky to be working with Curiosity Productions and their Kickstarter team to help us engage with young people across the city. Our task has been to engage with people under 24 years old who want to have their say on the future of Wolverhampton.
Over the past year we’ve been hosting online events and most recently, with Curiosity’s help, in real life exchanges and workshops.
Early September we invited young people to an advocacy event at Newhampton Arts Centre. We were joined by hosts and workshop facilitators Kupid Val Essone and Andre Reid, who lead an evening of creative conversations between young people and friends/stakeholders in the city.
Exchanges were held with young people who were able to share their thoughts with representatives from the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, Creative Black Country, Wolverhampton For Everyone, Wolverhampton Voluntary Service Council and Wolverhampton BID as well as creatives and media representatives from across the Black Country.

Thank you to everyone that came along to share their views and help make the conversations take place.
We’ll be sharing more news on the findings from the event later in the year as we wrap up the first part of the project and get ready for the next stage of Youth Lab Wolves.
