Volunteering Futures - Lighting up Whitmore Reans - Welcome Spring!

After weeks and weeks of preparation the Welcome to Spring Lantern Parade was finally here. Thankfully, the weather was welcoming too! Our volunteers spent the morning and late afternoon between Gatis Community Space and the Wildside Activity Centre working with the teams there, putting the finishing touches to the scene.

It was a fantastic event that goes to show what can be done when communities come together and there are willing hands to help out. Thank you to the teams at Wildside and Gatis, and to the great volunteers who really pulled out the stops from start to finish.
